HP Tuners Flashing Info

Licensing Credits Are Required

Flashing a tune file with HP Tuners requires the proper licensing credits before the file can be written to the vehicle. Taking the time to follow the correct steps helps prevent delays, failed flashes, or unnecessary issues during the tuning process.

Credits can be applied two ways:

During your MPVI device purchase

Or when prompted during the flash process

Credits are typically a one-time purchase per vehicle. Additional modules, such as a TCM, may require separate licensing.

To check how many credits your vehicle requires, use the HP Tuners supported vehicle list or follow the prompt inside the HP Tuners software during flashing.

Download VCM Suite Software

Before beginning the remote tuning process, you'll need the latest version of HP Tuners VCM Suite installed on your computer.

⬇ Download VCM Suite Latest BETA

Why use the BETA version?

The BETA release includes the newest features, bug fixes, and expanded vehicle support before they're available in the standard version.

We strongly recommend using the latest BETA to ensure maximum compatibility with newer GM platforms and the most up-to-date tuning features.
